SILK
According to a Chinese legend, silk was first discovered by the concubine Lei Zu, who had wild cocoons fall into her cup while she was having afternoon tea in her garden. When she tried to remove them, she discovered the fine, seemingly endless silk threads - and even if the discovery of silk can no longer be determined with certainty, the beginnings of its processing can be traced back to ancient China. The fine material reached Europe via the Silk Road, where it quickly became a royal luxury item. The shine and delicate feel of silk make it ideal for elegant outfits in any season.

3-FOLD
3-Fold is a classic, almost simple folding construction from the VIOLA MILANO collection, but in no way an inferior option. Creating a beautiful tie lies in the balance, for which the minimalist 3-Fold variant is the perfect choice. The processing is ideal for light summer ties or for heavy qualities that would be too heavy and bulky with other constructions.

SELF-TIPPED
The inside of the tie is made from the same material as the rest of the tie and although this part of the tie is often not visible, VIOLA MILANO uses the same material for the inside and outside. This construction method is called "self-tipping" and although it is more complex to manufacture, it is also more durable in everyday use.
